Short version: Threads Helper is a Chrome extension for saving and analyzing Threads posts. You use your own AI API keys. We offer Free and Pro tiers. Pro licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy. By using the extension, you agree to these terms.
By installing, accessing, or using the Threads Helper Chrome extension ("Extension", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may notify you through the Extension. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Extension operates as a client-side tool. All user content — saved posts, style profiles, generated text, and settings — is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.
Threads Helper does not require you to create an account with us. To use AI-powered features, you must provide your own API key from a supported provider (Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI, xAI/Grok, or DeepSeek).

We do not store, transmit, or have access to your API keys. They are stored locally on your device and sent directly from your browser to the AI provider.
The Extension is available in two tiers:
Includes: 1 vault, up to 30 saved posts, 1 Style DNA analysis per day, 7 AI generations per day. No payment required.
Unlocks unlimited vaults, posts, Style DNA analyses, AI generations, Style Mixer, Full Mode workspace, My Posts library, and JSON export. Pro requires a paid license.

Prices may change. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next billing cycle.
All payments for Pro licenses are processed by Lemon Squeezy, a third-party payment provider. By purchasing a Pro license, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
Recurring subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, accessible from the email you received upon purchase.
When you activate a Pro license, the Extension sends your license key and an anonymous device fingerprint to our validation server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) to verify your license status. This check also occurs periodically (approximately once per day for subscriptions, once per week for Lifetime) to maintain your Pro access.
Each license key is valid for one device (one browser installation). If you need to transfer your license to a different device, contact lobashkinp@gmail.com.

The Extension, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Threads Helper and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Content you save from Threads.com remains the intellectual property of its original authors. Threads Helper provides tools to save and analyze this content for your personal, non-commercial reference. You are responsible for ensuring your use of saved content complies with applicable copyright laws and the Threads.com terms of service.
Content you generate using the Extension belongs to you, subject to the terms of your AI provider regarding AI-generated output.
Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle (and don't handle) your data. In summary: your content stays on your device; we do not operate a user database.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Threads Helper and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for your Pro license in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Extension integrates with or relies on third-party services that are not under our control:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Changes made by these services (such as API modifications, pricing changes, or platform updates) may affect the Extension's functionality.
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome. This will delete all locally stored data.
We reserve the right to revoke a Pro license if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms (for example, by sharing license keys or attempting to circumvent license restrictions). In such cases, we will attempt to notify you at the email address associated with your Lemon Squeezy purchase.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Extension shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides.
